Privacy Information.
How NODE Development measures visitors without storing their IP addresses in plaintext.
Website visitor statistics
To understand how our software catalog is used, our website estimates unique visitors per day, week and month, as well as their country. We process your device's network IP address and browser user-agent to generate a secret-key-protected pseudonymous value; the website does not store your original IP address or place a dedicated analytics cookie.
For approximate country identification, your IP address may be sent securely to the external IP-geolocation provider ipwho.is. We save the resulting country code and a short-lived hashed cache key. The provider processes that request under its own privacy practices.
Country locations can be inaccurate, particularly when using VPNs, mobile networks or proxies. Automated/bot-like traffic and signed-in administrator browsing are excluded when detectable. Aggregated pseudonymous visit records are periodically removed after roughly 90 days; the geolocation cache after roughly 30 days.
Our statistics dashboard is not publicly accessible. Contact NODE Development through our Contact page for privacy questions.
